About

Payments, cancellations & refunds

The rules that apply to anything you pay for on this website. Temple services booked on the official temple trust website follow the trust’s own rules.

Payments

  • Payments are processed by an external, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Accepted methods: credit and debit cards, UPI and net banking. International cards are accepted where the gateway allows.
  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include GST unless stated otherwise. Your bank may add currency conversion or international transaction charges.
  • We are not liable for a transaction declined by your bank or for exceeding your card limits.

Cancelling a package or hotel booking

  • Request cancellation by email or from My Trips after logging in.
  • If we must cancel (for example, an operator becomes unavailable), you receive a full refund or an equivalent alternative of your choice.
  • Services suspended by authorities — e.g. boat rides during floods — are refunded or substituted.
When you cancel Refund
More than 15 days before arrival Full refund, minus payment gateway charges
7 – 15 days before arrival 75% of the booking amount
3 – 6 days before arrival 50% of the booking amount
Less than 72 hours / no-show No refund

Some hotels, festival dates (e.g. Dev Deepawali) and third-party services have stricter terms; these are stated on your quote and override this table.

Products (prasad, puja items)

  • Orders can be cancelled until they are dispatched; orders in transit cannot be cancelled.
  • Food and puja items are final sale and cannot be returned, except if they arrive damaged — report within 48 hours with photos.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has shipped.

How refunds are paid

  • Refunds go back to the original payment method — no cash or cheque refunds.
  • Allow 5–7 working days after approval for the amount to reach your account; international cards can take longer.
  • Payment gateway or bank charges for the refund may be deducted.
  • No refund is due where a chargeback has been raised with your bank for the same transaction.

GST invoices

If you need a GST invoice for input tax credit, provide your GSTIN before paying. Invoices cannot be altered after they are issued.
